Can I get Dental Implants on the NHS?

Well, no, on the whole, you can't unless you fulfil specific criteria. There are certain groups of people who have inherited all genetic disorders. Either the teeth haven't developed, or they've got a smaller number of teeth than that would be the norm. After cancer surgery or significant trauma, those groups of people still can have implant treatment funded by the NHS.
But in general, the answer must be no. You'd have a discussion with your dentist, who could then refer you to a hospital department, where you'll be assessed by a group of specialists, they consider that you do fulfil their criteria. They will then apply for the funding, for your implant treatment. There is no funding for people who have lost teeth through, you know, traditional gum disease or decay, and through just not looking after their mouths.
