What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that simply replaces the roots of your missing tooth. Onto that, we can then securely attach a fixed, permanent false tooth, known as a crown. That will look and feel exactly like your old tooth used to. It's the closest thing we have to giving you your old tooth back, and is the option that most dentists would choose to have for replacing a missing tooth if they had one that been lost.
