Yvonne’s Patient Story: Full-Arch Implant Treatment

Yvonne shares her experience of having full-arch implant treatment at The Implant Centre, from having implants placed badly elsewhere to new ‘teeth in a day’ and the best present ever!

Well, dancing is such an important part of my life. When I dance, I can express myself. I belong to the Martha Scott Dance Company; we dance on stage in parks and carnivals. One of the highlights is dancing in the Notting Hill Carnival. It is important for me, I have a perfect smile because I regularly show myself to the public.
It started when I had my denture, I have had my denture for 15 years and then I decided to treat myself to implants. So, I went to the first dentist and had a really bad experience, the results of the implants were awful. The alignment is not right, the result of the teeth is very bad, and it's protruding irritatingly.
So, I was very low, I was very low for one year, but I just kept on fighting. One day I passed The Implant Centre, so I decided to go there. To have another operation is really, really daunting for me. I decided to get treatment at The Implant Centre.
They took out all four implants and put in new ones, all in one day. They started in the morning, and by the afternoon it was finished. This is the best present I ever had, I didn't even look in the mirror, I could just feel that I knew already.
